I have just moved into a new house that has a british gas WR1 Wireless System on the wall by the boiler, thanks to the previous owners they miss layed the programmable room thermostat, i need to purchase a new room thermostat but not sure which to get, i've read that all BG WR1,RC1 operate on a frequency of 433mhz. The drayton programmable room thermostat runs on the same frequency, could any1 tell me if this is true.

Pretty certain the frequency has changed and it is in the 500`s now so you will have to buy complete package (transmitter and receiver) as they are not compatible
