Hi,

I have a Britony Combi Chaffoteaux & Maury. The Hot Water works fine but the Central Heating doesnt work. The flame fires up for a few seconds then goes out. Can any of you guys tell me the possible causes for this?

If the boiler heats itself up then the return gauze filter is probably blocked.

If it turns off before it has heated up then it could still be a blocked filter but it could be a few other things as well.

It could also be a diverter valve jammed on DHW but thats a less common fault.
