britony combi SE overheating.

hi all, sorry i new to this :oops: .
i have a britony combi SE 80 and it making lots of loud noises and then turns it self off and i see a number 80 flashing on the panal, when i look in the manual to see what this is it said "overheat sensor switch open" .
so what is this and where is it and is there anythink i can do to repair it.
i have been reading on this forum but as there are lots of topic a on overheating with lots of ways to fix them, i thort i try this first .
i like some safty tips on what i should do first be opening the combi as i have never worked on a combi before and i can not affored a plumer.

If nothing is working and it's only going to overheat and banging, then I would check the pump first.
