The control knob on my dishwasher has snapped. I can still use it, but it keeps coming off. I have ordered a new one, but don't know how to fit it. It appears to me that if I unscrew the two screws on the side and the two on top of the control panel I should be able to access the inside & so can remove the broken shaft of the knob then screw it all back together & insert the new knob through the hole on the face.
Any thoughts anyone? Are there dangers or pitfalls awaiting?
