Have just had BG out on a Homecare agreement to fix boiler (now sorted) and whilst they were doing the repair the engineer knocked over a piece of granite work surafce we have to remove to gain access to boiler (not our design but inherited). This has unfortunately cracked right across a corner and is now in two sections

Aside from the extremelly rude engineer who just said "oh how did that happen" and then denied all knowledge despite my wife watching him at the time - does anyone know if granite can be repaired?

If not is it likely a section of work surface can be matched and replaced (3 sections overall) as I do not know where the granite was bought from

Had a quick google and have emailed a couple of granite suppliers and will see what they say but wondered if anyone had any opinions please

most granite suppliers have the same patterns/types available, so they shouldn't have a problem matching it up, Carefull you don't get ripped off though. Some suppliers get the word 'Granite' mixed up with 'Gold'.

Thanks - looks like we will need a whole section - price wise will check it out but BG will be paying not us!
