i have a couple of broken stair treads in the corner at the top of the stairs, so no access under the stairs.
any idea how these can be replaced or repaired?
Never done this but I would approach it this way . . .
Cut centre of tread away to create access, around 1/3 of tread side to side.
Cut some 2x3 as long as I could get through the hole and screw to the underside of the tread each side of the gap, several large screws, 3" no 10s or similar. If the break is close to one edge then support that end of hte 2x3 by putting blocks onto the stringer.
Screw in piece of board to replace the part of the tread you cut out.
