I love the internet...we have exactly the same bracket as the OP and it's broken and I've been trying to have a look at B&Q etc. website to see if I can find a replacement but been failing...and the link to Wickes and the oval bracket just makes me so happy. I don't mind a bit of DIY (quite like it) but I don't like schlepping about trying to find something and not really knowing what it is actually called...not sure I would have gotten to 'oval end socket' anytime soon.
