"Cutting in" is the term I think.

Whenever I paint wall I have to do the edges using a paint brush as the roller doesnt reach.

However I can always then see the brush marks around all the edges and its not very appealing.

What is the professional way to do the edges of a ceiling or wall?

Sounds to me like your paint is to thick try watering it down slightly, u may find if you give a wall two coats with a roller u will need to give the edges 3 but you won t notice brush strokes then and your paint will go futher bargin all round. :D

Thanks mate, painting some more walls again tommorow so will give it a go.

Cheers
