I've need to install a fall alarm for a relative. Should be straightforward. Unplug phone, plug phone into base station of alarm, plug alarm into BT master socket. Job done.

But, the fall alarm wants all phones to be connected via base station, so that it can interrupt any calls in progress if it needs to dial out. And there is an extension wired into the BT master socket which serves a couple of phones upstairs. So ideally I want to remove the extension cable from the master socket and connect a 631A (or 431A) plug onto it (and extend by a few feet). Any ideas of the best way to do this?

It's not the prettiest solution, but something as simple as an IDC Coupler may do the job...

...or just a terminal block! :)
