Build over sewer lintel design

Yes, I've had a look and around 75% of it is within 1m but I can excavate down 150mm below to prevent loading. I'm then planning to bridge the remainder. I'll get the BCO to agree to it once I get the first visit done. Wessex's document allows this as a method so I hope it won't be too hard to sort out.

Buying all those lintels is pricey and I suspect the architect was playing very cautious and I probably took my eye off the ball.

You may find that you (and the BCO) need the Water Authority's permission.

That plan is ludicrous and more importantly any future problems with the sewer pipe will be impossible to address, without demolition. The sewer pipe looks like it could be diverted or the building could be shortened to avoid the sewer pipe.

Don't put too much faith in architects the majority are not very good.
