Building A Bee Hive..

Hiya, I've recently become interested in beekeeping and I would like to build my own bee hive from scratch. Are they generally easy to make for a beginner with little to no DIY skills?

Hi Brenda.

If you have little experience in DIY, you're probably going to need plans of some sort. Just search on google for some bee hive plans, here's an article I found in a few seconds. http://ezinearticles.com/5215964

Alternatively you could visit a beekeeping forum where people specialise in that sort of thing, I'm sure they could help you.

I think they have to be built pretty accurately so a job for a decent wood worker.

Have a google, and try a beekeepers (apiary?) forum.
