Building a fish pond

Hello,

I want to build a pond fairly soon. I plan on it being 3m long 2m wide 0.75m depth. I also want to do this myself as I don't have the funds to pay someone for things like this.. Now I've never done anything like this so looking for advice. I thought about using concrete blocks 2 skin thick tied together? And then render the exterior does this sound ok? Thanks
