This is a bit of an odd one.....

The south wall of our house is externally insulated, and sits behind a very low boundary wall, right on the boundary (As you'd expect).

Our neighbour would like to build this boundary wall up to 8ft high (They want a flat wall for unknown reasons), which we have no objection to as we will never even see it. However, as we have external insulation on the whole side of the building (about 14ft high), this will make the EWI sort of in a cavity.

Will this be a problem? Or can the EWI happily sit with a concrete block wall tight to each side of it? And when we reach 8ft, with good detailing, can it be just a standard EWI wall?

Not sure how clear this is... I've struggled working out how to word it!

Thanks
