Hi all,

Had a quick chat with council about Planning Permission to build a small office inside a 2,500 sq ft warehouse.

Apparently you don't need planning permission?
However, for a portable portakabin you do?

Also, can anyone point me in the right direction with building reg's etc, exactly what I need to check etc?

I just want to put up 2 breeze block walls in the corner of the warehouse to make an office and put a ceiling in with lighting and electrical sockets, a door and a window :)

Office to be about 200 Sqft

Would appreciate your thoughts :) Thanks.

I would have thought planning would have been interested due to a possible change of use

Speak to your LABC about requirements under the BR's. You will need to consider a number of different factors.
