Hi guys, after a bit of advice.
We submitted plans for a single story annex to the local council to build in the in-laws garden.
They came back to us with a big no saying the proposed building was to big. We have since reduce the size of the building however now it is too small to realistically be able to house 2 people in everyday life.
My question basically is,
Once we have built the building that the council have agreed to is there any way we can add some extra on?
At the minute the building has been made to be 5.6m x 4.3m (When we submitted plans we were trying for 10m x 6m) and this has to contain amenities and a bedroom. Completely unrealistic sizing imo, so im looking for ways around it.
Had bits of different advice from builders etc but nothing definitive on planning law etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
Pete
