Building regs final sign off question

Hello,

I have my final labc sign off inspection on Monday for a kitchen extension. I have presented the electrical works building regs certificate in advance and the gas safe but wanted to know if the building regs inspector will have an issue if all the light fittings are not yet in place. For example I have not yet chosen the wall lights I want to the wires are coming out the wall with chocolate blocks on them. Is this ok or should I find some cheap lights before he comes just to get through inspection?

If it’s been signed off by the electrician that will do.

He may not sign it off on the basis that the light fittings should be energy efficient, which is part of the regs.

They will most probably say take pics of final fittings n send to them then they will issue the cert.
