Hi. I'm currently building a single storey extension. On my building notice form to the council i informed them a non qualified person would be installing the electrics so it would need testing/signing off by them. At what point do i get them out for this? First fix or when its all up and running and can be tested?

If the application has been approved, contact them at first fix stage, before walls, ceiling etc are covered.
They may pay you an inspection visit, they may not!
