Bumps in wall

Hi there

Im wondering if anyone can advise what these bumps in the bedroom wall are, and how to fix?

They are not really visible in daylight but with curtains drawn you can see they are slightly raised and in a straight line.

Looks like old plug holes filled. Looks like some sort of bracket was fitted beforehand.
