Bungalow refurb

I've just had an offer accepted on a bungalow. It's 25 years old and really needs totally refurbishing.

It has good uPVC double glazing however the dark wood grain is on both inside and out and won't suit or tastes. Is it possible to successfully paint uPVC? If not what is a realistic price to pay for 12 Windows non being particularly large?

You can paint PVC. There are specialist paints available (and contractors who will do the whole job for you masking the windows and spraypainting)

for new windows a waves-hand-in-the-air guide is probably around £500 per window supplied and fitted if you are getting a houseload done in one go.

That is great! With regard to the cost of new, it was a bit of a daft question from me really as there are so many variables!
