While I was replacing the main oven element in my dual oven cooker, I noticed a connector above the small oven which looked as if it had very nearly caught fire. There appears to be some missing material around the area which I assume is some sort of insulation fibre. Can anyone advise what the switch is (in order to purchased a new one) and wheher I can even purchase the correct stuff to pack around it to prevent a re-occurrence?

I've attached a few pics of the connector and a one of the general area (if that helps) - the connector is in the top right in the rectangular hole. Cooker is a Scandinova DF902.

Thanks in advance for any insight.
John
