Burst ikea rail

Bit embarrassed posting this but any chance with a bit of patience and time I can salvage this nurst ikea rail end , The chest of drawers is brand new but one of the kids clattered it during construction and we are left with that
The length is still spot on , I wondering if plastic wood filler or something would support it enough if I squared it all off , Obviously leaving spaces for the screws, Or in it a lost cause ?
Any advice appreciated

Maybe speak to ikea explain what has happened to see if a replacement is available? I don’t think wood filler is the way to go, maybe Frankenstein it with some ply?

Just fix one of these or similar to the back and one on the underneath with some suitable screws, IKEA stuff is frankly sometimes a bit naff and need repairing, then move on with your life. Forget about filler.

I stupidly broke a white rail on a drawer set recently while building it. I phoned them up and they sent a replacement part FOC.

Thanks for all replies , The part doesn’t have a catalogue number , So it seems there is an option to go to customer services and speak to them and hopefully get a spare part sent out

I called them and explained the part using the instructions in the box. They sent it free by international post from Sweden!
