Hi All

My job over the christmas break is to put up the new ceiling, and dry line 2 of the walls in the lounge

I'm using 12mm plasterboard for both (is that ok?)

I'm trying to decide if I should put the ceiling up first, and then butt the dry lining upto the ceiling, or the other way round - put the 'walls' up first, then butt the ceiling up to that

is there a usual way to do it, or does it not really matter?

no, i'm not living in it over xmas :p

thanks all :)

Always ceiling first.

When putting up the wall plaster boards keep the ceiling edge flush, a few slight gaps at the floor will cover with skirting board.

1/2 inch board will be ok.
