Buy a scaffold tower, or buy some proper scaffolding?

Tower up each side or put braces only on one side so the tower wraps the extension/bay until you get above roof level, then you can revert to bracing front and back

Except it can't get close to any wall of my house it's perfect. Shame as they look great fun... Didn't realise you could self hire without reams of qualifications.

You do get proper brackets for having staging between 2 ladders. Always looks dodgy but if the ladders are secured, should be safe
