Hi,

Hope someone can help. I have recently attempted to balance my system Potterton 80 combi boiler.

My bathroom rad has a lockshield either side that were fully open acting as a "bypass" I think as boiler doesn't have bypass valve I believe.

I have balaced this rad also and temp of it seems to have dropped quite a bit(always roasting before).

Is this ok to do this to this rad as it is acting as a bypass? Or is this rad meant to be fully open?

Thanks.

Flow side should be fully open return side should be balanced as normal.

Thanks,

Am I right in thinking the more I close the return ls valve the more the temp will drop on the pipework on that side?
