Can anyone tell me how to remove the door and window sensors from the board from a c&k 700l? (Just running the PIR sensors)

i'm having new doors & windows installed and the idea of drilling for rapidly ageing alarm sensors fills me with dread!

Cheers

drilling into the new windows to mount the sensors will invalidate the windows 10 year warranty if you did decide to do it. Why dont you do what most do and use sticky pads to mount them? then its easy to remove them if you ever need to or if they fail

Be ready to keep replacing the sticky pads, they don't last very long.

Sensors are wired in through the wooden frames that are coming out... Chances of cables getting damaged during window removal is pretty high!

Just need to know how to remove them from the common fault circuit.

I've worked out which zones are PIR, and which are window / door shock sensors

Open the panel and link out the zones that are windows. Do what you like with them then.

Cheers.

At the moment I have just shorted the two tamper terminals allowing me to move the sensors.

Will I cause myself issues if I just snip these sensors?

Well my alarms been in 4 years now and i have not had to replace one sticky pad yet.

You need to short them in the panel or remove them from the global tamper loop.
