I am having a new kitchen fitted and there is no place to fit an existing PIR. I have joined the tamper wires together. The PIR is the only one on the zone. Can I just disconnect the other cables and insulate them or do I have to do anything else?

the alarm terminals twisted together and insulated. The power would need to be individually insulated. Ideally remove at the panel end if you l are not replacing it.
