I have just taken the lid off the white metal box in the airing c/b and I now have the wining tamper light on the keypad ... I don’t have a pin code never used the alarm and was never given the pin by previous owner (10 years ago)
Any ideas how to get rid of the wining noise at the key pad? Thanks

Disconnect the + or - to the keypad or power the system down ....but the bellbox may be battery backed and could ring ...

Yes there is a battery in the white metal box

No the outside bell box and seeing that battery was fitted in 1994 that’s got to be faulty ....have you tried 1234 on the keypad ?

Could I jump in here. I have the same problem but no user code. In order to factory reset do you just power down, connect up the link 2 memory pins, power up again and follow the manufacturers start up instructions with the engineer code?

Hi,
I have a similar problem with the same alarm system installed! The alarm keep going off both inside and out. The tamper light flashes on the panel until I enter the code, but the external alarm will not shut off.
How do i get this to stop? At the moment the only way this stops is if i turn the power off at the fuse box!
Any help is appreciated
