Cabinet door with large overlay - how?

I am fitting a large cabinet door to cover up a boiler. However I am not sure how to fit concealed hinges as the stud work frame needs a larger overlay so the door sits flush to the wall.
If I fasten the ginger to the stud it would require a hole much further into the door than the usual 5mm.
Please see the images.
Can I do it with a standard concealed hinge or do I need a special hinge to achieve this?

What colour are you painting that scrap wood used to make the "cabinet"?

Simple, you take that cabinet down and rebuild to the same high standard.

For a rarely used door it might be as well to consider something like Keku clips instead of hinges

I'm pretty sure you need to take away that horrible frame made from an old scrap pallet.

It will prevent the boilerman taking the casing off.

A kitchen door does not need that sort of frame anyway.

What are the dimensions of the opening (excluding the frame) and of the door you've got?
