10mm is ok for 200miles if there is no load!
The size of cable depends on the current you expect to draw. You haven't said what the total max demand is yet.
Then you need to do cable calculations and determine the volt drop. If this is foreign language then get a qualified electrician.

To reduce cost if I was to reduce to a 20 amp circuit would a 6mm cable be sufficient if I only fitted one 16 amp circuit for sockets and one 6 amp for lights

Ok thanks makes sense for future watts ... So think we all agreed then if I go for original quote at beginning 10 mm2 is a sufficient size to run 43 metres ?
Why don't you know?
Why do you think other people here should take responsibility for something which is YOUR responsibility?

What do you plan to do about testing? Do you know what tests you would carry out on the submain and final circuits - what sequence you'd do them in and at what point you would energise them, and for each test do you know what is being measured, why it is important, how you would carry out the test, and with what equipment, and what sort of results you would expect to get if everything was OK?

When it comes time for someone to sign this:

FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, INSPECTION & TESTING
I being the person responsible for the design, construction, inspection & testing of the electrical installation (as indicated by my signature below), particulars of which are described above, having exercised reasonable skill and care when carrying out the design, construction, inspection & testing hereby CERTIFY that the said work for which I have been responsible is to the best of my knowledge and belief in accordance with BS 7671:2008, amended to 2011 except for the departures, if any, detailed as follows:

will you be able to genuinely do it?

You seem determined to press ahead with this work without knowing what you're doing, by copying things you're told but don't understand, and without, probably, the ability to finish the work properly.

That's extraordinarily misguided.

Lol I simply asking advise on a size of cable as theses sights are designed for In case you had not noticed
There not designed for people who think they know all but probably turn out to be a college buff went to college for a year and came out with qualifications ..know it all but can't do the work ....

Im not questioning you or your knowledge so dont question mine and not looking for someone to take responsibility just simply like most people enjoying a chat and some DIY advise ......you obviously are some one that finds it hard to help people and give straight answers ...the sign of someone who does not really know it all ..

You need to stick to your shed banning

No it doesn't. With advice given, they can do the job just fine. This is a DIY forum after all.
But some jobs are not DIY.

I know you don't believe this so you tell him EVERYTHING that is required instead of constantly moaning at those who disagree with your simplistic view and belief that anyone can do anything.

The forum is indeed a DIY one but answering questions is not compulsory.

You do it.
