Hi

I have pretty much decided to tank my cellar with a drained cavity membrane system such as Oldroyd. The cellar has the consumer unit in it which has a lot of surface fixed cables going to it. The question is, is it OK to put the membrane over the cables or should they be rerouted so they run over the surface of the membrane so that they are sandwiched between the membrane and plasterboard? To be honest as the cables are 2m from floor level it probably wouldn't be the end of the world if the membrane didn't actually reach that far as they are not on a wall that is in contact with soil. What are your thoughts?

Thanks
