After searching the web an hour I cannot find the answer to what seems the simplest question , except by buying a book on offer for £150!
The question is this: surely there must be a simple formula which tells me how much water in litres/ min I am going to get through 200m of 32 mm MDPE pipe (whatever friction loss coefficient it has, I cant even find that out...) at a head of 10m (1 bar) at an average ambient temperature of 10 Celcius? (I know viscosity affects flow rates) Maybe I need to go bigger: I need to calculate the flow before I buy the damn pipe!
Thanks in advance!
