camera to auto show on tv8

Hi my cousin has a cheap cameras with a built in pir which connects to the scart input of his tv. When ever someone triggers the pir the images auautomatically flags up on the tv.

Im wondering how I would achieve this with a more traditional setup? I have an eyeball camera and a samsung dvr.

No ...the camera gives a 5v pulse to the scart connector this is how it switches the TVI scart input

Is there nothing I can purchase, I thought I could maybe program the the dvr to trigger the alarm output when the camera/ dvr detects motions, I was hoping there was a device I could then trigger that would momentarily active the scart input.

Do have any alternative suggestions,

I've actually got a scart plug with a bnc fly lead mabey I could modify it.

You could connect it via alarm out ( if available )

Thanks, i did a bit more research, and testing found that applying +12v to pin 8 and 0v to gnd on the scart cable triggers the input on the tv. It then reverts to the previous source when the positive is removed.

I've now to make up the cable
