Hi Guys, Newbie here I,m looking to buy a outside camera and the best resolution I can find is 800 TVL, I Believe this to mean Television Video Lines. Not sure what that exactly means is it High Definition.
800tvl is ok on a tv but most dvrs cant record more than 600tvl Samsung have just released a dvr which can record 650 tvl. your next step is hd sdi which can record at 1080p and then ip cameras .
