Can anyone tell me what this is, and what it should be set too?
Moved into a new house and noticed this connected to the Hot Water tank. It's on the floor and I presume its some sort of Pressure valve/throttle, but any idea what it should be set too?
Thanks very much. Only reason I ask is that the previous owner has played around with pretty much everything, and we have a rather temperamental GROHE shower, which seems to keep tripping it's safety cut off. I wondered if this could be anything to do with it?
Ok. Is there a general rule of thumb for where it should be set? Or am I going to have to get an engineer in to set it? I was hoping I might get away without having someone in?
I have a feeling that the shower head is causing a back pressure to the shower and that's why it keeps cutting off....
