Good morning,

I am clearing out my children's sand pit and need to dispose of the play sand. Now, is it worth me keeping a few bags of sand back in case I need to mix up some mortar to relay patio flags at home in the future, for example?

Thank you for your opinions.

Children's "play sand" can be absolutely anything. It should be silver sand which is only useful for mixing with lime to finish plastering the inside of a house.
