Hi, I'm in privately rented accommodation but we are allowed to decorate; the entire house is covered in dreadful anaglyta so thought we would strip this off, and have plain walls; however, we discovered why the house is covered in this after stripping the first room; the plaster work beneath is disastorous!! So cant face stripping any of the other rooms. However, one of the reasons the paper looks so bad is that areas of the it have been damaged by a cat stratching the pattern/embossed areas off. Im just wondering if there is any way of patching this up with a textured type paint etc, obviously we wouldnt be able to replicate the pattern, but some texture to the small areas then freshly painted over top may hide the worst parts. Can anyone recommend a product/method to achieve some kind of disguise/repair?
Thanks
