Hi all! I'm new to forums so please bear with me. I'm wondering if I can fit a thermostatic controller to my vaillant turbomax GB VUW 242E? It is at present controlled by a Danfoss TS15. If so what's best replacement n what extra do I need? Thanks for yor time people. 😜😇

Honeywell CM907 should be compatible.
If not, someone will be along soon to put me right.

Thanks for that. I've looked at those but there battery powered is there a mains powered version?

Why do you want mains powered?
I don't thing ther's such a thing. I might be wrong. The wiring from the boiler is mains, if that's what you mean.

Hi again! Sorry just presumed the Danfoss TS15 had a mains supply to it as I've never fitted batteries to it in the past 12 years. Will double check if it gets its power from the boiler supply. Thanks again for your input. 😃

Honeywell CM907 is the easiest to use, by a considerable margin. Quality problems have blighted them recently tho.

You can reasonably expect the batteries to last around 3yrs. They are only AAs.
