Can Glass Be Poisiness?

Hi all

Are there any types of glass that can poisin fish? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I can get glass panneling at a good price from Here.

I am just a bit worried about going through a huge mission, only to find out it was for nothing. I know this is probley the wrong place to ask this type of question but nobody can help me.

Well, glass is just sand really. Unless its got some kind of polarising coating, or perhaps has something to reflect heat on it, it won't harm the fish one bit.

Some of the imported glass is not of the same quality as say Pilkingtons, it could have some imperfections, not a problem with making a small tank but would you want to risk it with a 100 gallon marine set-up?
