Can I get away with speedfit pipe outdoors

We're going to put a tap at the back of my garden. I'm planning to route the pipe in a narrow gap between two fences.

Can I use speedfit pipe? I'll paint it, it's in the shade of the fence anyway, and I'll put a bleed valve to drain it in the winter.

Copper is feasible, but will require cutting it into about nine 1m stretches and then soldering together again in situ because of the way it'll be routed. Whereas the flexibility of speedfit pipe will allow me to wiggle it into the gap and route the pipe in one unbroken length.

Extra info:
I don't think I'll have the space for 20mm MDPE - particularly at the far corner where it will need an elbow because the mdpe elbows are probably too chunky.

None of this (apart from the bleed valve) will be visible because it will be behind the fence. If maintenance is required, I'll be able to unscrew one of the horizontal slats of the fence to access.

Edit: I might not not have enough space for insulation, but will be draining in winter anyway.

I have actually seen someone run speedfit around the outside of a pub, and drill holes where the hanging baskets are, a make shift sprinkler system when the water is turned on, it’s been like that for years with no problems, but that’s probably down to it being drained every time it’s used

If you're going to drain it over winter it'll probably be fine. I've got an outside tap on it & had no probs over 8 years. If you do insulate it, use proper outdoor stuff (specced for aircon)- the grey foam stuff rots away quite quickly
