I have a Promax HE plus combi boiler.

I know how to remove a radiator for decorating (drain system, etc). However if I want to remove it permanently, can I just cap off the feed and return valves, or do I need to connect them to maintain a loop?

Thanks

Unless you have a one pipe system, the inlet to the rad will be connected to the system flow and the outlet to the system return, so capping them off will not affect flow around the circuit - on two pipe systems, radiators are (in effect) bypasses that short circuit flow around the loop!
