Advice pls! I am new to forum and about to knock down old extension (subsidence) to lay new foundations and re-build extension afterwards. I'd like to re-use the bricks so that they match rest of house. Can anyone advise on the best way to demolish old building and clean up bricks for re-use. Red brick (25yrs old) cement mortar. Much obliged K. :)

Avoid breaking them, and remove the old mortar. :D :D

We're not being flippant (well we are actually) but there is no easy way I'm afraid. However if you can't re-use the bricks there are brick matching services available. Good luck

Id guess using something like a small kango would give you the best chance of not damaging many of the bricks during the demolition process(kango out the mortar beds)...but it will be tedious work.
