I have a standard cooker hood, non-vented, (Hygena APL 2124) fitted under a cupboard that is plugged into a normal 3 pin socket.

It doesn't work so I want to replace it with one of the same style. As it is non-vented is it simply a case of unscrewing it off the wall, ixing the new one to the wall and plugging it in?

I don't want to pay someone £100 for something I may be able to do myself!

This is a picture of the one I want to get which is the same type as the one I've got.

If it is the same you should be able to use the same fixings, no probs doing it yourself.

Thanks, I was just worried that there would be wiring and stuff involved. If it's no more than fixing a plug I think I can cope....
