Can I take a photo out of a PDF?

If you are using paint it is possible to resize. Firstly use the select tool to draw an elastic band around your pic. Drag this so it is in the top left hand side of the work area. Click elsewhere outside the box to finish this, the elastic band should disappear. If you look to the bottom right hand side of the white work area there should be a small shaded box. Click on this box and drag it to alter the size of the work area.

If you have MS Office, use Photo Editor, of course you did install it ? ... More info than Paint, lightweight but useful.

Sorry if these images are a bit big!!
You need to click away from the elastic band so it disappears or select another option. When you have done this the 8 or so shaded boxes should appear, the one you need is the bottom RHS. Click, hold and drag it to the correct size:

Oh, you meant drag the corners!

For some reason, my deafault size fills the Paint screen so the handles are not visible. I had to alter picture attributes to make it a bit smaller.
