Can I use 4 year old engine oil?

There's x2 5L tubs of Quantum 507.00 LL (sealed) if I want it.

Bottled in 2014 and has been kept in cool storage all the while.

Will it still be healthy?

Many manufacturers seem to give their oils a 5 year shelf life.

Indeed, 5 years ...... in ideal storage, according to Millers!

I've just purchased new instead! ...... £18+vat at the local VW.

All the cars in family fleet use 5w30 so we use VW507.00/504.00
