Can I use " No More Ply" for lino?

Hi there,
I need to put new backer board over my floorboards in my bathroom as I had to sort out plumbing issues.
Someone gave me a nice big roll of lino.
I was wondering, can I use the "no more ply" product 6mm thick instead of plywood/marine ply?

the no more ply looks easier to cut etc. I cant find anything on Google to say if you can use it for lino
only information on tiles.

Get the floor as flat as possible, use 5 x 40mm screws to hold down any loose boards, and pack them out if necessary to make them flatter. Then just use an ordinary underlay.
