I have a presario v4000. and am staying with my brother who has internet on his desk top, not wireless , its through a cable. we tried to connect the cable to my laptop. when this is done, a small icon apears and says local area conection is now connected speed mbps 100. But when I press internet explorer it wont connect
when i go into internet options, then connections, there is nothing in the white box.
I am lost,
