The plasterers have nearly finished - now I am getting conflicting evidence in what order I should do the following.
a) Fit electrical sockets and light fittings (all wiring has been done)
b) Paint the walls (mist coat and then other coats)
c) Fit Skirting, Architrave
d) Paint Architrave, Skirting
e) Fit Doors
g) Paint doors
e) lay laminate flooring downstairs
I thought it would make sense to mist coat paint the walls, then have electrician fit the lights etc. Then paint the house, then fit the laminate flooring. Paint the the doors, skirting and architrave before fitting them?
I thought there will be no need to 'cut in' if the walls have already been painted - also if I paint the skirting and architrave before fitting it will be easier?
Same applies to doors - to paint them before fitting them?
