Can transformers be possessed?

Hi all

Thanks for the replies thus far.

I haven't googled smps yet but will do later.

The sound wasn't constant and at a guess it fluctuated just below 12000mhz(ish) (my ring tone is 12000mhz- long story). The pitch did rise and fall like a modem would.

I haven't noticed it since (nor had I before)
