I'm seeing if anyone can help with the strange noise I can hear when we have had gale force winds on two occasions in last fortnight. It can be heard in the rooms with the external wall. It's loud on the landing and bathroom and can be heard in living room. I have recorded it on my phone and video it also. My house is a new build and is 16 months old. It's a semi detached and I can hear it as the wind gusts against the wall. Noise can't be heard outside. Had a look at the house from outside and can't see anything out of place! I've also been into loft but couldn't hear or see anything

It's probably the roof plate holding down straps straining against the single screw they put in.
