Can unscreened coax cause lcd tv splutter ?

I've got the wf100 cable so just waiting for a decent day to cable down the the tv and see the result is.
As I mentioned earlier, I'll do it logical steps.

I would test it simply by running the cable down the stairs to begin with. You don't need good weather to do that. Fit a plug to the end and connect directly to the TV.
